Seems to come in handy at all levels, particularly when you get to complex which is basically the universe of all numbers that we talk about.<br /><br />Also, there's something about the definition of rational numbers that makes me giddy.<br /><br />Some day I'm going to scan my old 8th grade notebook in and share it with everyone. I have a picture in there that looks very similar.
